Our Collaborative Scheme pricing structure is designed to be easy to understand, with ‘at-a-glance’ prices and no hidden extras. They are wholly dependent on how many pages your book consists of and what type of final product you require.

We always offer discretionary discounts to new and returning authors in respect of their publications. Discounts of 10% are mandatory for all reprints.

All prices listed in the on-line viewable PDF document (see below) are substantially below commercial rates for book production. We are able to offer such competitive rates as all production is undertaken in-house, keeping overheads to a minimum and also ensuring strict quality control is observed throughout.

With Green Arrow Publishing, authors are not required to enter in to a complex, hard-to-understand ‘contract’, whereby they are unsure of exactly what their commitment, financial and otherwise, consists of. We seek to offer partnership dual investment in every aspect of your book rather than a one-sided dictatorial approach where authors are bombarded with jargon and left feeling isolated!

Full guidance notes for authors are provided on this site in reference to the Collaborative Scheme and we are always happy to deal with any queries you may have.

Here are two examples of pricing as applied to two different publications. The first example follows the pricing structure for our typical basic product, while the second example follows the pricing structure for a publication that has had two of our optional Product Enhancements applied (in this case, Perfect Binding and a High Gloss outer cover).

Please note that the prices given in both examples are for guidance purposes only and do not reflect the further discounts we offer to new and returning authors (see above).

Example One: 100 copies of a 60pp coloured card covered book, text only, printed black and white on 80gsm standard white paper and staple bound.

The total price for this publication = £268.00, making a unit price of £2.68 per book. Our recommended cover price would be £5.00. Therefore for each book the author sells, they recoup their outlay and make £2.32 profit. After having sold 54 books, all remaining sales achieve 100% profit*.

Example Two: 100 copies of a 120pp Perfect Bound book (glued with a flat spine) text only, printed black and white on 80gsm standard white paper and a High Gloss outer cover.

The total price for this publication = £542.00, making a unit price of £5.42 per book. Our recommended cover price would be £7.99. Therefore for each book the author sells, they recoup their outlay and make £2.57 profit. After having sold 68 books, all remaining sales achieve 100% profit*.

*Both examples assume that books are sold at full cover price. Financial return will naturally be less if offering discounts to purchasers (especially  bookshops).

Please note that page quantities include a 4 page cover. All prices include a Reading Fee, ISBN/Barcode and all administration including p&p and delivery.
